Keoladeo National Park, popularly known as Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary is a World Heritage Site situated in eastern Rajasthan. This famous avifauna sanctuary hosts over 370 species of birds, especially during the winter season, and was declared a protected sanctuary in 1971 [Source: Wikipedia]

Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary is a man-made and man-managed wetland that is one of the richest bird areas in the world. This Sanctuary is known for nesting resident birds and visiting migratory birds including aquatic birds. Birds visiting from various places like Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, China, and Siberia make this Sanctuary their winter home.

This diverse habitat is also home to species like deer, nilgai & boar.

Photograph exotic birds like Sarus Crane, Pelican, Greylag goose, Bluethroat, Mottled owl, Darter, Black-necked Stork, and innumerable other bird species.
